I turned 26 in May and it almost seemed like a wake up call. I have never really had a healthy lifestyle as an adult until recently. My life never consisted of taking care of my body and I finally came to a realization that I needed to get out of that funk. It all started as a new year's resolution, so cliche I know, but I actually went through with it. It’s been months and I have never felt better. I am full of energy and I am so much happier. It is all about taking baby steps and slowly transitioning into a healthier lifestyle. I am sharing the 5 easiest, most common, and painless tips you can receive to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Motherhood is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. But motherhood is hard, at times it drives me crazy! About two weeks ago Evan decided he would do the opposite of what I asked. He would fall on the floor and cry his eyes out if things didn't go his way. The threenager stage comes and goes. Once that settled down a bit came the sleepless nights. He would wake up crying in the middle of the night for a week straight. Those sleepless nights really kicked my butt. So, in other words motherhood is hard, but so rewarding at the same time. If you are a mom you know what I mean. So this is why I LOVE the new TV series Better Things, that premiered this month on FX.

Fall is basically here and I think everyone gets overly excited about everything pumpkin. You either love it or you hate it. Personally, I love it! This time of year just gets me, ya know? The weather, the holidays but most importantly enjoying life. Something about a hot cup of coffee that instantly makes your day better. Most mornings I keep my coffee simple, but will Fall around the corner I've been feeling a little spontaneous. I gathered up a few ingredients this past weekend with a help of a few recipes I came up with my own little twist of a pumpkin spice latte. I have to say it's pretty amazing. Let me know what you think!

Hey there! We recently received the cutest book in the mail. This is the second book that Disney Hyperion sends over, the first was Mother Bruce, and we still read it today! Papillion: The Very Fluffy Kitty by A.N. Kang it is just as delightful as I thought it would be. Evan has been reaching for this book and we have read it one too many times. Find out more about this book by following Disney-Hyperion on Twitter and Instagram.

If you haven't noticed by now I love cooking traditional dishes that my mother would cook when we were little. One dish that I absolutely loved coming home to was tostadas. I never realized how easy it was to make them until I started making them for my family. We all enjoy them especially me. HERDEZ has made Tostada night quick and convenient for this mama. My beans cook in 5 minutes, it takes me another few minutes to chop everything up, I prepare the tostadas and everyone enjoys. I recently started purchasing these because they are NEW in stores. HERDEZ Instant Refried Beans come in four different flavors: traditional, jalapeño, queso and chorizo. You can find HERDEZ Refried Beans in the bean aisle of your local grocery store.

Have you been to Target lately?! I took a trip on Sunday and not only was their dollar spot perfectly organized, but as I walked in they were pulling out fall product. I don't think I have ever been this obsessed with Target's dollar spot. I wanted everything!!! I thought it would be a good idea to give the $10 Target challenge a try. There is no way this is possible, unless you only have a $10 bill, which is what I forced myself to think.😂 I think everything I picked up is freaking adorable and will look so lovely in my home. However, I do plan on going back this week and picking up everything that I had to leave behind. All because I wanted to blog about it!😂 Overall, I did surprisingly well. I only spent $8!

Luckily for me Evan is not a picky eater. That boy will eat anything. When I go to the grocery store my options are endless, but I always opt for the most nutritious and most delicious options for him. Annie's Homegrown products have been on my grocery list since Evan started eating solids. Annie's doesn't add any artificial flavors, synthetic colors, or preservatives to their products. They also do not use antibiotics or synthetic hormones.
